Premier League rival and table watching

I miss the excitement of the 2018-19 season, when, beginning with Game 1, and all the way through, every single match for both LFC and City  seemed critical to the title race.

I anticipate a similar race this season, although I do believe that both Chelsea and Man United are also likely to be in the title discussion for most of the coming season. At the end, though, I think the race will again come down to our Reds versus the Powder Blues.

Regardless of who the rivals are, for me it’s exciting (and sometimes “fun” — often not) to watch our rivals’ games and our respective positions in the table throughout the season. And, on the relatively rare occasions when those rivals drop points, this becomes a cause for celebration.

And on that note, I’m delighted to report that I just finished watching the Spurs-City match.

Final score:  Spurs 1 – City 0

Boo-yah!
