About Me

I became a Liverpool F.C. fan at the start of the 2011-12 season, and I’ve barely missed a kick since. I am a 50-something Texan and a retired trial lawyer. When I’m not watching or obsessing about LFC, I am often working on racial equity issues, spending time with my wife, sons, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter, playing guitar (badly), cooking, hanging out with my pit bull (Tessa) and my boxer mix (Enzo), or otherwise enjoying life.

Special thanks and recognition to Eric, one of my best friends, who also shares my passion for LFC. These blog posts are literally my half of a very long conversation with Eric. After years of me sending him lengthy emails about Liverpool, he said, “It’s great that you write these for me. But you really should get them published.” For multiple reasons, this blog would not exist were it not for him.
